Switch involved in Award Winning College

St Patrick’s College, Cavan wins 2014 Community and Council Awards.

St Patrick’s College were the proud recipients of two awards last Saturday night February 1st from LAMA (The Local Authority Members Association) 2014 Community and Council Awards. These awards commends individuals, groups and private companies for their outstanding contributions and projects that benefit local communities.

Switch are happy to have contributed to the completion of this project by providing the Energy Saving Lighting Solution to Semple McKillop Consulting Engineers.

St Pat’s won their category “Best Educational Building”, a building which realises the managements and staffs vision of a 21st century educational facility. It enhances existing facilities from its striking entrance through to the two storey triangular layout which allows for ease of navigation, an abundance of natural light and a stimulating environment that compliments the educational ethos of St Pat’s. The college also went on to win the Grand Prix category which is a special commendation for outstanding excellence.
