Our Dado trunking, floor boxes and Power Poles where installed throughout the recent UCD Newstead Facility with our Aluminum bench trunking used in the laboratories.
We are currently supplying products to the refurbishment works of the New Science Block as part of the ongoing Campus development programme.

New Breast Check Clinics
Switch Distribution has installed two of it's widely Specificied Disabled refuge Systems in the two new recently opened BreastCheck units - the Western Unit in Galway and the Southern Unit in Cork. The BreastCheck Southern Unit is located in Cork on the campus of South Infirmary Victoria University Hospital and the Western Unit is based in Galway at the rear of the University College Hospital campus. The new units, with state of the art digital equipment, and a number of mobile units will facilitate a free breast screening service to in excess of 140,000 women living in the South and West and screening from both new units has already commenced.
Our system allows the Disabled Toilet Alarms to be combined in the one master station is very attractive proposition to specificiers and installers and allows for controlled evacuation by Building Safety Officers & Fire Officers.
Local Authority Swimming Pool Programme
Grant-aid from the Exchequer has being made available to local authorities, towards the cost of providing new swimming pools or refurbishing of existing pools throughout the country. The Ministers launched a new Local Authority Swimming Pool Programme. Switch Distribution already installed its 'Tapeswitch' product together with our Disabled Toilet Alarm System into each of the Family style and wheelchair accessible changing rooms on some of these projects. This IP rated 'Press Anywhere' ribbon switch is ideal for use as a call point in these high traffic / corrosive environments.

Portiuncula Hospital Ballinasloe is one of our many Primary care sites utilising the features & benefits of our Quantec Addressable Nurse call system. The ease of installation simplicity of use by staff members coupled with local access to technical advice and spare parts is a big plus for Switch Distribution in this area. Our regular training courses ensure maintenance engineers & installers are kept up to date with our systems features allowing them meet their strict policies and obligations.
We also service many of the 'Nursing Homes Ireland' members with there large & small nurse call system requirements. We offer a local call out service assisting in the planning / design of systems and consumables are readily available off the shelf.
